Lecture @ National Gallery this Thursday

I have yet to visit the National Gallery’s exhibition The Artists, Architects, Artisans: Canadian Art 1890–1918 but hear it is quite good and worth a visit.

Percy Nobbs (1875-1963) and Hutchison & Wood. McGill University Union Section XII 3 October 1904. Watercolour, ink and graphite on paper 37.0 x 58.0cm. John Bland Canadian Architecture Collection, Rare Books and Special Collections, McGill University Library, Montreal

This Thursday night (Dec 5) there is an accompanying lecture by David Gordon, a Professor and the Director of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Queen’s University.

Tickets are $8. Lecture starts at 6pm. More info available on the exhibition website:

If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to coordinate a pub night after the lecture.

PUB NIGHT! Discussion will informally migrate to the Earl of Sussex Pub after the lecture. Hope to see you there.
